But some of us explained that this would happen before Barry was even elected. Poor Chucky K looks even sadder than usual. It must be such a depressing burden for him to be so brilliant and so right in the face of so much wrong.
Anyone in 2010 who still equates liberalism with freedom in any way is either completely misinformed or delusional. When I was a kid, I confused liberalism is what I now know is libertarianism or classical liberalism (before the progressive hijacking of the term). Despite its root word, there is no freedom in liberalism. Liberalism is government control of all aspects of life veiled in “noble” intentions so as to be more palatable to the naive. Every once in awhile, the rainbow-and-unicorn printed veil slips a bit and we are welcome to the ugly reality of liberalism. The ever gross Barney Frank was the honest liberal of the week:

Glenn Beck retweeted this earlier on Twitter; the key bit comes at around 2:52. If you watch the whole clip, you’ll see he’s making an argument for why young voters disgruntled with the pace of “Change” (e.g., no DADT repeal yet, no public option, no troop withdrawal) shouldn’t stay home or vote GOP in protest. Rather, they should turn out in swarms and elect more Democrats so that the party can pass anything it likes. That’s what he means by giving Pelosi et al. “more authority,” I think — a bigger caucus, not expanded federal power. Then again, the left being what it is, a bigger Democratic caucus necessarily means expanded federal power, so consider this a creepy Kinsleyan gaffe in the same vein as Hillary’s many chill-inducing collectivist soundbites from Campaign 2008. No wonder the Constitution now comes with a disclaimer!
That’s Matt Lauer’s response to Obama’s admission that he has not spoken to BP CEO, Tony Hayward to date since the oil spill began almost two months ago. Uhhhh. Yeah, Me too, Matt. In short, Obama explains his non-communication with Hayward like this: “Well, CEOs only lie so there’s really no point.”
Let that sink in a moment.
Sick. So basically Obama is willing to gamble the resolution of this tragic disaster by taking a hands-off approach with the only other man on the planet besides himself responsible to make sure this leak stops because of his deep-rooted hatred for capitalists? Wow. You need to click the link below to hear the sick and confused contradictions. One breath he says he trusts BP to get this done because “they have an incentive to shut this down because it’s going to cost them,” then in the very next breath he ultimately admits that he doesn’t trust them. Sounds a lot like voting present to me.

To those of you who, like me, often have trouble reconciling your feelings towards friends and family who helped to contribute to Obama’s “fundamental transformation of America” by voting for him, you may find the commentary on the brewing unrest within the Democratic party interesting, if not hopeful. For almost two years now, one of my favorite blogs is Hillbuzz – a group of gay, post-Democrat men who were staunch supporters of Hillary during the ’08 campaign, only to turn on the Democratic party after the Leftist/Progressive takeover was complete. Love these guys. Not only are these men awesome writers, but they are patriots of the highest magnitude. They have the sharpest political savvy, and they’d make absolutely brilliant advisers to the right candidate. Check out their post today on The Democrats’ Civil War.
Some of us who live in the obvious tried to point the necessity of executive experience years ago during the presidential campaign, but the kool-aid was flowing and folks wanted to see in Obama what wasn’t and isn’t there: competent experience. Obama is a theorist. He’s never been in charge of anything, and America knew it and elected him anyway, so why blame him now that he cannot manage this crisis the way you’d like? Well, some of us can blame him, but we’re sure as hell going to blame you too. It’s his glaring inexperience that has reduced Obama to follow the advice of a second-rate, has-been artist. The result is an embarrassment. What Spike and most of America still neglect to consider is that Obama’s not “cool” or “Nodrama Obama” – HE’S A NARCISSIST. He can’t show emotion. It’s always about him. Force him to pretend to be otherwise, and the phony result is even more disturbing THAN THE UNFORTUNATE REALITY. Almost. But not quite.
B-b-b-but, it takes time to clean up 8 years of crap! No, Simpletons. Obama’s policies since taking office have not only thrown the country into greater, unprecedented debt, but the market’s fear of his damning policies-to-come have stalled growth entirely.
“…the Obama administration and Democrats in Congress had no strategy for long-term growth. The stimulus was a collection of short-term minor stimuli, combined with liberal hobby horses that Democrats had ridden for twenty years.”
